Engaging Students to Lead Their Purpose
The Challenge
Beacon College is a private college in Leesburg, Florida, that serves students with dyslexia, ADHD, or other specific learning disabilities. They are the first college in the nation accredited to award bachelor’s degrees exclusively to students with learning disabilities and ADHD. They pride themselves on being a competitive higher education institution in the arts, sciences, business, and technology.
Beacon College’s website was outdated, tired, and hard to manage. It did not reflect the innovative spirit of the institution, nor did it communicate the authentic experience a student would enjoy. They needed to transform their website and better communicate their unique value.
Through partnering with PHOS, Beacon College successfully revamped its digital presence, accurately reflecting the outstanding college experience it offers to its dynamic student body. Within the first four months of the new website launch, we experienced the following results.
0%
increase in engaged sessions per user
0%
improvement in average time on site
0%
increase in events per session
Our Vision
When visiting or attending Beacon College, you can feel the intentionality taken to invest in the student body and their education. However, for a potential student, that experience did not translate on their website. Our vision for their website was to capture what was felt in person digitally.
The Solution
By creating a visually stunning website that intentionally guides potential students and their families to explore the college, Beacon reinforces its expertise in empowering students to grow both academically and personally.
Their digital presence now accurately reflects the exceptional college experience they provide to their dynamic student body. The website effectively highlights Beacon’s offerings, benefits, and unique programs with clarity.
